The beautiful collaboration between two great houses : Trois Rivières and Teeling, evokes an encounter between two emblematic terroirs with ancestral know-how: the Caribbean and Ireland, sugar cane and grain, Creole column and Pot Still.
On Trois Rivières’ side this collaboration marks the launch of “Trois Rivières Finish Collection”, a collection of Aged Agricole Rums that have benefited from remarkable finishes in barrels of other great renowned spirits, edited in small batches.
Trois Rivières Finish Irish Whiskey Teeling, an AOC Martinique Rum aged in oak barrels, enjoyed a finish of more than 8 months in ex-Irish Whiskey barrels “Small Batch” of very high quality, and selected for Trois Rivières by Alex Chasko, Cellar Master at the Teeling Distillery. The power as well as the spiced and woody tonicity of the House’s great Aged Agricole Rums mingle with the beautiful roundness and the fruity and herbaceous smoothness of Irish Whiskey for a very balanced, structured and tender result
On Teeling’s side, it is the reveal of its second Small Batch Collaboration in France: bringing a finishing to the iconic Small Batch in renowned barrels, with the aim to create a new generation of whiskeys with unique aromatic profile.
To create Teeling Small Batch Trois Rivières Collaboration, Trois Rivières 12-Ans d’Âge casks have been carefully selected by Daniel Baudin, Trois Rivières’ Cellar Master. This authentic Irish whiskey thus captured the depth of the aromas of Agricole Rum and its unique Caribbean flavors for a result with subtle and delicate floral notes.
